Freshmen Residence Halls
Abbottsford Hall: This coed hall offers more than 200 students access to triple rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom, and its prime location puts students in the heart of campus.
Residents have full access to all of Marquette's dining rooms, including Schroeder Hall's Cafe Italiano across the street. Abbottsford offers 24-hour front desk staffing, a computer lab, a study lounge and 24-hour gathering space. Students are part of a community where they can really get to know their neighbors.

Straz Tower: Very spacious and was recently renovated. But there are other reasons why students choose to live there, including the Honors Program floors and fantastic dining room. Straz also houses the Rec Plex workout facility, which gives students easy access to health and fitness equipment, including basketball courts and a swimming pool.
Carpenter Tower: With its art deco lobby and decorative brick exterior, Carpenter Tower is unique. It is a coed facility that houses nearly 300 first- and second-year students in single and double rooms. Specialty living floors floors are available for Engineering students. Residents dine at Cobeen's dining room across the street.
Cobeen Hall: Marquette's only all-female residence hall. Housing 387 first-year female students, the building is always abuzz with energy and excitement, making for a dynamic living experience. Features include specialty housing for nursing students and a dining room open seven days a week.
Mashuda Hall: Home to nearly 400 first-year and second-year men and women who enjoy a relaxed living environment. Mashuda is a newly renovated facility that has its own dining room that's open seven days a week and spacious double, triple and quad rooms with new furniture and air conditioning.
O'Donnell Hall: Home to 296 first-year male students and a favorite because of its camaraderie. Residents will enjoy rich traditions, popular amenities and a thriving community. O'Donnell is a fantastic place to spend a first year at Marquette.
There's always something happening at McCormick Hall, Marquette's largest residence hall. Home to more than 725 male and female first-year students, McCormick also features CommUNITY, a cross-cultural residential learning environment, and a dining room open seven days a week. If you are a first-year student looking to be amid the action, McCormick is it.
